Join the founding Editorial Board of Practical Science Press — we are recruiting editors, reviewers, and scientific advisors across all ten of our journals.
Practical Science Press is actively recruiting distinguished researchers and scholars to serve on the founding Editorial Boards of our ten journals. As a newly established publisher, we are building a community of experts committed to advancing open-access scholarship across the sciences, engineering, social sciences, and humanities.
We warmly invite applications from qualified academics and clinical researchers worldwide. Founding board members play a formative role in shaping the journal's scientific direction, peer review standards, and long-term reputation. We particularly welcome applicants from diverse geographic regions, career stages, and subspecialty backgrounds.
The Editor-in-Chief provides overall scientific and editorial leadership. Responsibilities include setting the strategic direction of the journal, making final publication decisions, overseeing the peer review process, and representing the journal to the academic community. This is a founding leadership role with significant influence over the journal's scientific identity.
Associate Editors manage the peer review process for manuscripts within their area of expertise. They solicit and evaluate reviewer reports, make recommendations on acceptance or revision, and contribute to the journal's scientific development.
Editorial Board Members serve as scientific advisors and ambassadors for the journal. They may handle manuscripts, suggest reviewers, contribute invited articles, and provide guidance on scope and editorial policy.
Statistical Editors review the methodological and statistical integrity of submitted manuscripts, ensuring that study designs, analyses, and reported outcomes meet the journal's standards.
We maintain a growing database of peer reviewers and welcome applications from researchers at all career stages. Reviewers are contacted on an invitation basis when manuscripts matching their expertise are received.
We welcome applications from individuals who meet the following general criteria:
