The Practical Energy is a peer-reviewed, gold open-access journal dedicated to publishing well-conducted research in energy systems, renewable energy, and energy policy. Founded in 2026, the journal serves as an international platform for original research that advances the transition to sustainable energy systems worldwide.
The Practical Energy invites submissions of original research, systematic reviews, clinical trials, and case reports. All manuscripts accepted before 1 January 2027 are published entirely free of charge under our founding year APC waiver.
